Videography and motion graphics

Trailkeepers of Oregon is a nonprofit focused on maintaining public trails and training volunteers to build trails around the state of Oregon. We were just beginning to discuss promotional projects around the Oregon Coast Trail with TKO, when the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic took hold.

Because TKO could no longer train volunteers during the pandemic, and trail work was essentially shut down while parks shut down access, we worked together to direct that energy and funding towards a series of educational videos around trailkeeping. The first set of videos was called “Trail Eyes”, aimed at the general public, and we integrated creative motion graphics to make this series stand out.

After creating an animated logo, custom overlay graphics, and producing several final videos in the series, the project was released. As of late 2020, we are looking ahead to a continuing series of projects with TKO, aimed at more technical information and at trail ethics for the general public.
